Merrimack Magic Softball

The travel and tournament program of MYA Girls Softball,
competing at 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U across New England.

Our Program

Our purpose is to give girls from age 5 to 18 an organized athletic program that's competitive and fun. Girls can join at any age and any skill level, and play year after year until they graduate high school. For a more competitive path, Merrimack Magic travel teams compete in USA Softball and Babe Ruth tournaments across New England. Our primary season runs in spring and summer, with fall ball as well.

Volunteer With Us

We're a 100% volunteer-run program, and we currently need help in a few specific spots. Let us know which one fits and we'll follow up.

Thanks for stepping up! Someone from the board will reach out soon.

Keeping A Scorebook

Being able to keep a scorebook is an important part of the game, which allows coaches to keep track of offense, defense, batting order, score, and a lot more depending on how much you'd like to include. All coaches should keep a scorebook for games at the 10U level and above.

Community

Merrimack Magic is more than tryouts and tournaments. Here's where we show up together off the field.

Fisher Cats Night
An annual night out with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, minor league baseball's affiliate team. A fun, low-key way for Magic families to get together outside the softball season.

Date for this season: to be announced. Check back or watch our Facebook page.

Field Cleanup & Batting Cage Day
A volunteer day where families pitch in on field upkeep and batting cage maintenance, one of the ways our fields stay in good shape on a volunteer budget.

Date for this season: to be announced.

Spirit Wear & Team Store
Merrimack Magic apparel and spirit wear, available through our team store.

Why Sponsor Merrimack Magic?

91+ Local Families

Your name reaches parents and families across Merrimack every season, on the field, in the dugout, and online.

Jerseys, Banners & Social

Field banners, jersey placement, and shoutouts on our Facebook page keep your business visible all season long.

Your support directly funds scholarships, equipment, and field upkeep, keeping softball accessible to every girl in town.

Double$500Logo/link on site and social media

By becoming a sponsor, your support enables us to provide better equipment, maintain our facilities, and offer scholarships to families in need. In return, we're thrilled to promote your business through various channels, including placing your company name on jerseys, social media, and signage during games and tournaments.

Our main goal for the sponsorship program is to continue providing a quality softball program for the lowest price possible. With inflation at a record high, many families are struggling to pay their bills, and some have to choose whether their daughters can play because of it. We believe the social and personal benefits of playing sports are paramount in a child's life, and we want every girl in our town to have the opportunity to play if she wants to.

Every Magic team sets aside part of its registration fees into a dedicated scholarship fund, so a family's ability to pay never determines whether their daughter can play. If cost is a barrier for your family, please reach out. We keep these conversations private.

Current Fundraising Need

Our 8U field is due for a fence and bench replacement, and material costs have risen sharply this year. We're working to raise $9,000–$10,000 to get this done before next season. Sponsorship and donations at any level go directly toward projects like this one.

Contact Ryan Flynn at myasoftballnh@gmail.com to discuss sponsorship opportunities, or register below to donate today.
